We offer a workshop series. We provide laptops to laps. We deliver nourishment and improve health especially for people at acute nutritional risk. We promote wellness and provide opportunities for caring people to extend loving support to families, friends and neighbors. We nourish the minds, bodies and spirits of clients, volunteers and supporters alike. Works of Merci, was founded on the principle of volunteerism. Providing a means for volunteers to contribute to helping others in need is an essential component of Merci's mission. Works of Merci, services most of the Birmingham, Alabama Regional Metropolitan Area.
Our primary supporting mission is the delivery of meals, care and support to people requiring nutritional help to feel better, get stronger or to simply sustain nourishment . Meal delivery is one of the greatest concepts developed in the modern age of effortlessness and time saving. It's very simplistic, but it truly changes the way you can live your daily life and how you can be taken care of. No need to worry if you have groceries at home, if you have to go to the store later, or with buying ingredients for meals: it is all put together for you. It's almost as if you have mom around to cook for you.
It's ideal for a working mom who doesn't want to spend lots of time preparing dinner, seniors or singles living on their own, caregivers, those dieting, boomers caring for relatives, as well as a great gift idea. Nothing keeps a dieter on track more than having meals prepared and delivered to their house. A week's worth of cooked meals is indeed one of the most useful and appreciated gifts you can get a couple with a newborn baby or a child away at college.
A tremendous gap existed in available services and resources to provide freshly cooked and/or medically appropriate meals for the homebound and their caregivers. Our response was to fill that gap. As this mission increased, it was ever apparent that there was not only a need for this population, but for busy professionals, working or traveling parents, those living alone, baby boomers assisting relatives, remodeling your kitchen, or in need of a domestic hiatus. We are here for you!
Our food is better because our standards are higher. All the cuisine at Works of Merci, is made with the freshest and the highest quality ingredients to create the most incredible food delivery you have ever experienced GUARANTEED. We look forward to serving you and those you love.
Works of Merci, is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization recognized by the IRS, whose mission is a call to action in performance of the Works of Mercy. As a result, we are so thankful and blessed to be able to provide this mission!
